Gulfstream Aerospace

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is an American aircraft company and a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics. Gulfstream designs, develops, manufactures, markets, and services business jet aircrafts. The intended clientele for this packaging were aircraft owners and aviation executives.

For this project, we were tasked with reimagining a full packaging suite, as well as creating a luxury custom design that represented the Gulfstream brand, while also adhering to their specific guidelines.

The final products were luxurious yet sustainable. To enhance the brands’ unique yet classic approach, we used embossed, custom dyed textured paper to create three sizes of retail carrier bags colored in Gulfstream blue on the outside and lined with dark blue. The handles were custom made and durable. The logo was done in clear foil, and was stamped on one side of the bag. The tissue for the inside of the bag was branded with a tone-on-tone Gulfstream trademark— making it not only elegant—but discreet.

The wrapping paper had a cohesive bespoke design which represented air-foils over the wing on an aircraft. The grosgrain ribbon was made in three sizes. For cultural reasons, we also created a ribbon for the Asian market. The boxes were custom made to specifications, and came in three sizes. They were done in crisp white matte, and were embossed with a toothy texture to further elevate the design.
